Wedding Barn Set-up for 2023
2023 was one of the busiest years to date with weddings
at Furtho. We had over 50 weddings at Furtho, alongside
various other events, including networking meetings, baby showers, birthday
parties and more. Our weddings had from 4 to 200 wedding guests.
January
- In January we had an 18th and one wedding. We love a winter wedding and it was a farming one as well with the bride and groom arriving on a tractor
- It was a beautiful example of how to create a winter
wedding with round tables and sets
of candles on the centre, a hot chocolate stand (fitted with
marshmallows, cream, and even baileys).

The suppliers who helped make this day were
February
In February we held a couple of events. We started with an intimate wedding in Furtho East with just 6 guests, this was for a ceremony only wedding before the wedding party went to the local pub for a meal.
The props and flower wall were supplied by Eclipse Events.
For all weddings the couple meets with the registrars before for interviews. At Furtho this normally takes place in Furtho East, or if this room is being used for the wedding, they can take place in the Farmhouse.
The below photos were for an engagement party - people often ask do you do other events than weddings and the answer is yes. Happy to host any party you would like.
Furtho Events supplied the tables & chairs, with balloons and LOVE letters from @thebudgetweddingcompany and the dancefloor and lights and drapes from @Mcgeesuk
March
- It was great to be able to host our spring wedding fair and see lots of regular wedding suppliers. We had stalls in Furtho East, our smaller ceremony rooms, the main barn as well as outside. There were suppliers here to help plan your whole wedding from hair & makeup to get you ready, through to the music to dance the night away too. At Furtho we normally host two wedding fairs a year. To find out when our next one is go to https://www.furthomanorfarm.co.uk/weddingfairs

- Wow now this was the hottest day of the year for our weddings. I can remember in the days before AnneMarie & James looking to see where there would be shade for their wedding ceremony and I have to say they chose a beautiful spot. Sadly I do not think my pictures do it justice but the arch and benches with the backdrop of the lake looked beautiful.
The ceremony set up looked absolutely stunning with shade from the trees below the Church and then a view across the lake.
There was a ‘chill tent’ outside for the children and due to the good weather, people were able to relax outside for the majority of the day and had pizza from the bus in the evening.
