  St Bartholomews Church, Furtho, is owned by the Church Conservation Trust and is a Church of England consecrated building. It is a beautiful 900 year old Church, just a stroll down the path from the wedding barn here at Furtho Manor Farm. It provides an atmospheric and intimate setting that is available for Church blessings. A number of couples each year choose to use it as their main wedding ceremony. A Church blessing is very similar in words to an actual wedding, but you will have to get legally married beforehand.  This can be on site on the day, or during the set up days, or some couples choose to get married off site before their wedding day. The Church has seating for 100 guests and can be candlelit using the candelabras. Accessible Wedding Venue I read a comment on Facebook recently saying how people don't talk about if a venue is accessible and I realised I had rarely talked about this online, which is awful as it is a topic close to my heart.   My mother was paralysed from the chest down when I was 3 years old, so I grew up with a mother in a wheelchair and know lots about accessibility problems.  I have lifted her wheelchair up steps and stood outside many toilets not letting anyone in as my Mum could not shut the door!  A lot of this blog is written to give wheelchair users details about the venue, but we are here to help with any accessibility issues so if you have any questions please do click here to contact us .
