Celest Wedding Photoshoot

Early in 2021 I was approached by Francesca Checkley Photography to do a photoshoot, she had come up with a celestial concept with a spin of the much loved film the notebook.

Just coming into spring she had the urge to create a little bit of magic, theming the couple as Allie and Noah,. because who doesn’t love a timeless love story.

A ceremony was set up in front of the Dovecote building a perfect backdrop to position the moon seat from @bobbiwrenevents layered with the most stunning meadow of flowers by @untamed_florals.

With the change in wedding laws outside weddings are allowed anywhere in the field outside the barn, so a legal ceremony could now be set up like this here at Furtho Manor Farm.

Our beautiful real couple were @oneaussie_onebrit, you could feel their real love together and were amazing to capture throughout the day.

Liv (our Allie for the day) wore the most sparkly of dresses by @cotswold_bridal_boutique_uk, a perfect dress for our celestial theme.

Loads of room to give the dress a good spin.

"Shooting at Furtho Manor farm was the perfect venue with beautiful views all around and the barn as a blank canvas to create our perfect celestial themed set up.

I think these days it’s important for couples to know that your wedding day is your day! To get creative with it and to have the day exactly as you want it. To speak of your personalities and to share the love with your family and friends.

I have been a wedding photographer coming up to 2 years now and lucky enough to capture a variety of special days. I love capturing couples memories and giving them images to relive the special moments they had on their big day. I am based in Buckingham so very lucky to be so local to such a stunning venue such a Furtho Manor farm.

Here at Furtho Manor Farm just across the field from the wedding barn is a medieval church which is owned and maintained by The Church Conservation Trust. It can be used for photos but we ask you put a donation to in the wall safe. The Church is also available for a number of blessings each year.

The beautiful ribbon gives you another chance to put a personal touch to your day by adding a calligraphy message.

Inside the barn we had the table set up of celestial dreams by @vintage_florrie with props from @bramblesky2014 & @bobbiwrenevents.

All the stationary and venue signage was designed by Bluebell press

One of the centre pieces of the shoot was the cake by At your wish cakes which just sparkled. If you are having a DIY wedding make sure you remember to cut the cake - and have someone organised to cut it up for your guests.
