Church Blessing in Northamptonshire

St Bartholomews Church, Furtho, is owned by the Church Conservation Trust and is a Church of England consecrated building.

It is a beautiful 900 year old Church, just a stroll down the path from the wedding barn here at Furtho Manor Farm. It provides an atmospheric and intimate setting that is available for Church blessings. A number of couples each year choose to use it as their main wedding ceremony.

A Church blessing is very similar in words to an actual wedding, but you will have to get legally married beforehand. This can be on site on the day, or during the set up days, or some couples choose to get married off site before their wedding day.

The Church has seating for 100 guests and can be candlelit using the candelabras.

Only couples who are booked to have their wedding reception at Furtho are able to use the Church. The Church has to be booked through the Church Conservation Trust and then they put you in touch with the vicar for our parish, who would take the service. If you would like someone else to take the service, they have to be a Church of England vicar and this has to be agreed through our parish.
