Here is our review about the weddings and events held at Furtho Manor Farm in 2025.  If you are looking for some barn wedding ideas and local suppliers have a read.

We held weddings with no guests up to 145 day guests and total guests in the evening up to 175.


We held ceremony only weddings, reception only, ceremony and afternoon as well as full day & evening weddings.

19th February 2025 Kajal - Pre wedding ceremony and pre wedding party.


Our first event of 2025 was a pre wedding ceremony and party.   They had the pre wedding ceremony in Furtho East and then a party in the evening in the barn.

Nathan & Faith - 5th April 2025


What a gorgeous April day Faith & Nathan had for their wedding.  When Nathan & Faith came to see us looking for a wedding venue they had one important requirement - they were looking to have an alcohol free wedding and did not want the bar open.  That was all fine with us and our bar stayed closed and they provided all there own drinks.   They had a real DIY wedding - doing a lot of food themselves as well.

Amanda & Daniel Tuesday 15th April 2025

We held a small ceremony only wedding. A Tuesday wedding with 18 guests and then coffee served by @littlecottagekitchentowcester and @faegrianphotography as the suppliers.





Anais & Hayden  19th April 2025

Congratulations to Anais & Hayden who got married on Saturday 19th April. It was a fantastic family affair with family & friends doing the food and decor as well as playing in the band !

Lauren & Ben - 26th April 2025

Lauren & Ben got married in London during the week before and then came to Furtho to have their wedding party.

Sarah & David - 3rd May 2025

I am going to start by talking about the end of the night. I often tell couples how I love a crisp wall. If your guests fancy a snack at the end of night the crisps are there. So although the picture looks like a group of people dancing with the barn doors open - I took this photos as most people in the picture have a packet of crisps in their hands !
A beautiful May wedding for Sarah & David, they got married in Olney Church before coming to Furtho for their wedding reception. They certainly had a fantastic party.

Georgina & Thomas - 10 05 25


It was a gorgeous colourful wedding on a bright and sunny summer day on Saturday.
Georgina & Thomas set up the barn and colourful lanterns themselves, with friends on the Thursday & Friday before their wedding.
They hired the rustic tables & chairs from ourselves as well as our wooden arch, which they then decorated.

Tracey got ready in The Farmhouse with the help from HK Hair & Wellness

The barn was set up with our rustic round tables.
Then McGees as well as doing the bar, provided the cross back chairs, dancefloor and lights as a chandelier with drapes & fairy lights.

Catering at the weekend was provide by Anchor Farm Catering who served a lasagne dish to each table for the wedding breakfast and then did a hog roast for the evening.
While Chocolatier Fountains came and did crepes for dessert.

Charis & Matthew had an outside wedding ceremony by Furtho lake. Then in the barn it was set up with McGee's trestle tables & wooden cross back chairs and lots of fairy lights.

Nigel & Hannah - 27th May 

This Tuesday wedding had an indoor ceremony but everyone managed to get outside for some photos straight after the ceremony and enjoy the outside space for the afternoon. They had sixty day guests and then another sixty for the evening.
Caribbean and English grill provided the food and music for the day and @captured_by_jess_x did the photos on the day and also provided a photobooth.

REVIEW 

"Had our wedding at Furtho this past weekend. We had the best day and honestly can’t thank Linda & Robin enough for it. The farm is so stunning, everybody complimented it. Even in the rain it was a beautiful day. Thank you to Linda and Robin for all their support. We were able to stay in the gorgeous farm house with lovely clean, spacious rooms for all the bridal party to get ready in. Also breakfast was amazing so thank you for that too! We couldn’t have asked for a better day and we couldn’t have done it without all your help and your lovely venue.

Philip & Sue 21st June 



Philip & Sue had their wedding ceremony down on the gazebo with Kelly H Celebrant taking the ceremony.

Sue and her bridal party set up a beautiful wedding.   They had three long top tables on the right of the barn and then eleven 6 ft round tables - this was for 117 guests.

Then they had Danes Catering provide Caribbean food as well as doing the music.

This was a ceremony only wedding with just four guests. 


Leoni & Jason - 1st July 

On Tuesday 1st July Leoni & Jason had a small wedding ceremony & reception with 35 guests.
They hired a marquee - in case of rain, but in the end it was used as shelter from the sun!

Michael & Meera 12th July

What a gorgeous day Saturday was with a wedding full of colour. I look forward to seeing the professional photos by The Wedding Film & Photo Co.
The day started at midday with the bar opening as it was a celebrant led service.
Then @milestonemomentceremonies led the ceremony which was held outside the barn with Furtho Church as the backdrop.
Their caterers were @Anderson Catering during the day and Goutam Das in the evening.
Then a DJ from Rob Lawes Entertainments - Premier Wedding DJ service kept the dancefloor busy for the evening.







Hannah & Sam 19th July

Yippee after a awful weather forecast for Saturday it rained for the morning, drizzled as the bridal party walked to the barn for the ceremony but as the ceremony finished the sun came out. All the wedding guests went straight outside after the barn wedding ceremony for photos and there was no more rain all day.
Sam & Hannah had created a fabulous wedding with some great supplier and some great finishing touches. The balloons with the table numbers on as centre pieces looked great as did the coasters as place names with a picture of each person. The flowers were done by a family friend and they looked lovely.

Felicity & Anna 26th July

What a wonderful weekend Anna & Felicity have had with friends and family traveling we had lots of camper for the weekend.
Anna & Felicity started their wedding day with an intimate wedding ceremony at 12pm to the left of the lake. They then had time with their photographer @chloebolamphotography before having a ceremony with all their guests at 2pm.

Katie & Joshua - Tuesday 29th July

Gorgeous wedding yesterday with 80 guests in the day and another 30 in the evening.
The bride and bridesmaids got ready down at The Lodge with the help of @Soft Glam by Rose for their Make-up and Hair by Hannah Louise.
Katie & Josh had their wedding ceremony on the hill down towards the lake.
They hired our arch for in front of the ceremony as well as having our rustic tables for the barn.

Sophie & Joseph 19th August

Another Tuesday wedding yesterday - and they partied well !
Lots of family and friends helped set up the barn and did lots on the day, so Sophie & Joseph only had to get a few suppliers.
Sophie arrived in an old fire truck which looked great, she had got ready at home with the help of Hannah Rafferty Makeup - Backup and her dress was from @proposalsofwitney
They did their own buffet in the day and then had the biggest pizzas I have ever seen delivered by Louis' in the evening. There was a lot of pizza !!









Andrew & Eleanor 23rd August

Thank you Andrew & Eleanor for choosing lots of our favourite wedding suppliers. Always great to have suppliers who know our venue well and work well together.

Angela & Andrew 26th August

Congratulations to Angela and Andrew who got married on Tuesday.
Angela and her sister stayed in the Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast on Monday night and got ready in the room.
Her dress was from Willen Hospice Bridal Boutique in Leighton Buzzard and looked stunning.
Hannah from HK Hair & Wellness came over from the salon on site to do Angela's hair. It was a lovely relaxed morning before a 12pm ceremony.







Stuart & Tina 30th August

Wow what a wedding I have got so much to share I was not sure where to start. So I have decided to start in the barn before the wedding, with everything set up and ready to go.
Samsa May's helped set up the wedding and did the wedding co-ordination on the day.
The arcade games and blossom trees were supplied by HotShotsMK and the Audio Guest book by MK Audio Telephone Box
The dancefloor, drapes & fairy lights and furniture were all supplied by McGee's UK Ltd as well as them running the bar.
And Leigh from Ainsey's Entertainment was the DJ for the evening. Just one part of the music for the day but I will share more on the next post !











Lots of yummy food on Saturday.
They started with a buffet from Anderson Catering and Chocolatier Fountains (sorry I did not get any photos!) then in the evening they had The Charcoal Grill Company and ice cream from Loraso Ice Cream
The wedding cake was set up on one of our wooden barrels and was made by Kirsty from @OH MY Cakery

Emmeline & Andrew Tuesday 2nd September



After looking at the weather forecast on Monday Emmeline & Andrew decided to set up for their wedding ceremony inside. It was a good decision as just as the bridal party went to walk to Furtho East for the brides registrars interview the heavens opened !!
They used our room dividers to split up the barn so that one side was set up for the ceremony and the other side for the reception.









Tashsa & Chris 6th September

Last Saturday's wedding ceremony was outside down by the lake, with our arch decorated by Jade Flower Boutique By Georgianna who also did the wedding flowers in the barn.
The bouncy castle was supplied by 2 B inflated who you can see at our wedding fair in October.



 





Rebecca & Jay 9th September

Barn all dressed up and ready for Tuesdays wedding, with 50 guests. There were lots of great touches from playing cards as wedding favours and the cross word about the couple for everyone to do.






Ed & Jo 13th September

Saturdays wedding used lots of our hire items & furniture including the rustic round tables, trestle tables, wooden arch, wooden table plan, copper frame, wooden barrels and sweet trolley.















Kasey & Lewis 20th September

Congratulations to Kasey & Lewis who got married on Saturday with an outside ceremony - although plan B was also set up inside in case it rained !

Steven & Heather 21st September

Most of our wedding are held on Tuesday or Saturdays but sometimes we can fit in another event. On Sunday we held the wedding celebration for Heather & Steven.
Heather got ready in the farmhouse with the help of Hair Host and Pam Gray MUA, whilst friends and family decorated the barn. Their flowers were supplied by The Flower Pot
They then had a BBQ cooked by Ian Brodie Catering followed by a disco by DJ Phil Legend

Tilly & Toby Tuesday 23rd September

Congratulations to Tilly & Toby who got married on the gazebo last Tuesday and then had a party in the barn.
Friends and family helped set the barn up and did the cake.
They had Anchor Farm Catering provide a hog roast and Pleasuredome Band to keep the dancefloor busy.








Mia & Thomas 27th September

The barn look fabulous last Saturday with lots of flameless candles lighting it all up.
The rustic round tables and wooden chairs are all from Furtho Events.

Kristian & Fiona  Tuesday 30th September

This was an elopement ceremony only wedding.  The bride and groom contacted us just a couple of months before the wedding.  On the day we were their witnesses and the only supplier they had was By Hannah Photography other than the registrars.

Kristian & Fiona got married down on the gazebo and then had lots of photos with Hannah.















Kayleigh & Adam 11th October

Kayleigh & Adam got married in the barn on Saturday with a divide from McGee's UK Ltd in the middle of the barn. This stayed up until after their meal and was then taken down.
They used our arch to give the backdrop of their wedding which was decorated by The Flower Company Milton Keynes

Ellee & Daniel 25th October 

The wedding on the 25th October hired a number of items from ourselves.

Cricket Club Party 1st November 

Our last party of this years was a end of season party for the local cricket club. We provided all the furniture and then they had Roger from  MK Parties  with his new DJ Booth, The Brothers Supper doing the food and Its your photobooth as their other suppliers.

Wedding Couples Information

  Wedding Couples Information Please make sure you both read the below information and if you have other people setting up in the barn they must also read it. Access For a Saturday wedding you can have access to the barn on a Thursday & Friday from 9 am to 9 pm and everything needs to be cleared away by Sunday midday. Whilst for a Tuesday wedding access is available on the Monday at 9 am to 9pm and everything must be cleared away by Wednesday midday.  Then access is from 8am on the morning of a wedding. Accommodation We have in total five bed and breakfast rooms. Three in the farmhouse which all can be double, twin, family (2 adults and 2 children), triple or single rooms and two at The Lodge, just next door which can be double or single occupancy only. If you would like rooms for any additional nights the prices for these nights will be single £70, double / twin £90 family or triple £120.
