Here is a review of the weddings and events which took place at Furtho Manor Farm Wedding & Event barn in 2024 on the Buckinghamshire / Northamptonshire border.

It is wonderful to be able to share these pictures from James at 1st Class Wedding Photography & Videography. Always lovely to have pictures from the whole day.
Rosie got ready with her bridesmaids in the downstairs room in the farmhouse, with HK Hair and Hannah Rafferty Makeup - Backup. Rosie's dress was from Lucy Hart Bridal
Wilde Flower Boutique provided the milk churns & pew ends in the Church. Purple Lily Event Hire supplied the umbrellas and an easel.
Furniture, bar & lights were supplied by McGee's UK Ltd
Marc from Ace Entertainment Services was the DJ for the night.
With on the day wedding coordination by Samsa May's
The only supplier who had not been here before was S&J Cuisine who supplied the wedding breakfast before The Calzone Kitchen came to supply the evening food.
23rd March 2024 - Sophie & Joshua
Another combination of lights with McGee's putting up the chandelier at the top and festoons at the far end.
I also always love a crisp wall and this was a new version which looked great.

I have known Graham from Two Hearts Wedding Cars for ten years and finally we got to see the car where his business all started from, his Lincoln car. He has had other cars and bouncy castles here but it was a first for this one.
Congratulations to Zoey & Daniel who got married in Potterspury Church before coming to Furtho for their reception.
Zoey's dress was from Silver Sixpence Bridal Boutique Great to be able to give the bridal shop a shout out as they are often one of the suppliers I do not know about.

13th April 2024 - Jessica & William
Jess & Will got married outside with the Church as the backdrop, on a beautiful spring day.
They had chosen a great group of local suppliers some who had been here before and some which we new to us.
Caterers The Rub - Wood Smoked BBQ for the day and Good Times Cafe UK doing cheese toasties for the evening.

28th April 2024 - Izzy's Babyshower
It was wonderful to help Izzy create the babyshower she wanted. Her family helped her organise the day and were struggling to find an accessible venue for wheelchairs. Madly, this is something I don't tell everyone about enough, but my own Mother was in a wheelchair from when I was a child so this is something I grew up with and so we have always made sure our venue works for wheelchairs.

11th May 2024 - Amy & Mark
Amy and Mark booked our venue just six months before their date, as they could not get the registrars at the time they wanted. They got married at 10 am with just a few family and then had a blessing in the Furtho Church in the afternoon. It could not have turned out better, with the groom and a group of family and friends managing to fit in classic car rally in between the two ceremonies!
Amy did the flowers, venue set up, cake, hair and make-up. Friends did the music and photography. So their only suppliers were McGee's UK Ltd for the furniture, drapes, lights and bar, and then Sargeant's hog roast and barbecues served a BBQ. 14th May 2025 - Sam & Vanessa
Vanessa & Sam got married on a Tuesday, in Furtho East our smaller ceremony room. They just had their ceremony here at Furtho for thirty guests.
With a ceremony-only wedding, couples can be on site for a couple of hours - plenty of time for the ceremony and then photos afterwards.
18th May 2025 Daniel & India
The beautiful flower ball looked amazing on Saturday hanging above the dance floor. This was made with artificial flowers by The Flower Company Milton Keynes so that is was not too heavy to hang.

25th May 2024 - Emily & David
Emily & David had the family dog here for the ceremony.
Our room dividers were used to split the barn as they only had 40 guests and choose not to use all the space. They spent Thursday & Friday setting up the space and decorated it all themselves, the result was beautiful.

This was a full day small Tuesday wedding. The ceremony was in the barn with the doors open.

This was a ceremony only wedding with just a few guests, which meant everyone could go on to the gazebo.
Saturday 1st June 2024 - Jess & Jay
Jess stayed on the Friday night with her bridal party and we also had a few campers stay both nights.
I loved how they set up the barn with a mixture of our new round and trestle tables, with chairs from McGee's UK Ltd
Then had Squisito Butchers & Deli cater for the wedding breakfast and then pizza in the evening from @Woody’s Fired Pizza
The couple grew their own flowers for the tables and then had their bouquets grown and prepared by Flower & Farmer a Northamptonshire flower farmer. Love to see local flowers used.

15th June 2024 - Robert & Jennifer
Robert & Jeni had a great day, the weather was not the best but they commented on the day after that they really did not notice the weather on the day. @safskitchen.mk and @chefhathome_ created three course fusion breakfast meal then @safskitchen.mk Street Food for the evening meal.
They used a few of our regular suppliers - who we think are fab

22nd June 2024 - Kathryn & Joshua
Kathryn & Joshua had a great chilled wedding, they got married at the registry office in Milton Keynes and then had a party back in the barn, well, mainly outside!
Their caterers were Gutbuster Food Bar this was the first time they had been here and I heard their food was very tasty.

Here is the wedding from the last Saturday in June. With an outside ceremony, the barn looked amazing, with some great personal touches ... I particularly liked the photos of the couple for the table numbers, in the pictures they are the age of the table number!

Last Tuesday we had a small wedding and reception. Brad & Emily got married in Furtho East and then went across to the barn for the reception.

Last Tuesday we hosted a lovely small wedding for 30 guests. The bride & bridesmaid stayed in the Farmhouse the night before with Hannah Joy MUA helping them get ready.

Last Tuesday we hosted a wedding for 100 guests.
The bride and bridesmaids arrived by Two Hearts Wedding Cars and then the wedding ceremony was held outside in front of the lake.
The food for the wedding breakfast was prepared by The Gourmet Hog Roast Company whilst a family friend ran the disco.
@McGee's UK Ltd provide the furniture, drapes, dance floor and ran the bar.

Shauna got ready with her bridesmaids in the farmhouse and then had photos on the lawn before the ceremony.

I loved the small details of this wedding. From the sparkling tablecloth for the top table, the glitter balls to the fringe drape acrosss the barn.

They just used two suppliers on the day @saf's kitchen who supplied a lovely grazing table and Samsa May's who was the wedding coordinator on the day and helped set up the wedding.

Congratulations to Jenna & Billy who got married last weekend. The weather made it tricky for an outside ceremony but as they had a celebrant they could hold off setting up until after the thunderstorm.

This was a ceremony only wedding. The couple had the ceremony then a drink & cake before going out elsewhere for supper.
Saturday 12th October - Amiee & Laurence
Amiee & Laurence hired a number of our props for their wedding last Saturday. These included our new 6 ft rustic round tables, wooden chairs, sweet trolley, wooden arch, wooden barrels and copper frame.
They also had our highchairs, connect 4, Jenga & wooden easel.

Wow this was a stormy weekend but it was lovely and cosy in the barn. Sophie had to hold on tight to her veil and her bridesmaids to their boquets as they walked down to the barn.
Well done to Eliza Jade Events for serving up a delicious meal with pizza and hog roast cooked in their horse box and brought into the barn so guests did not have to fight against the wind.
Saturday 14th December - Jade & Furqan
This was the last wedding of 2024.
Their caterers were @TavahRestaurant and the furniture was from @Mcgeesukltd and Decorous Events
