Baby shower and baby naming
Baby showers in Milton Keynes
Baby showers are a time to give the mum-to-be love and support, as well as giving presents of the various necessary items for the new arrival or pamper gifts for the mother. I read with interest on her website how Carly Candles started making candles due to her research during pregnancy for safe products to have in your home.
It is an opportunity for the mum-to-be to have a relaxed time with family and friends before their life gets busy with a newborn child.
Furtho Manor Farm gives you a relaxed venue in the countryside just outside Milton Keynes to host a baby shower. We have two venues which can be hired, depending on the number of guests, with lots of opportunities to have some stunning photos both inside and outside.
There is also plenty of free parking onsite.
Furtho East
This rooms works really well for up to 30 people. The space is 11.4 by 4.9 metres with a height of 2.37 metres. This room can also be set up with round tables, three tables would fit in here with plenty of space around them. Alternatively, you can use one long table to seat up to 21 people in the style below.
The above decor for the above event was set up by Taran Events and the cake below was a vegan cake from The Vegan Bake Away
Here are some kind words from Sarah whose event it was
"I had my baby shower at Furtho Manor Farm and it was the
perfect location! The team were so helpful in showing me around the place
before booking the venue and I loved the venue! It was a perfect location with
an amazing view to take the best pictures. I would definitely book again at
Furtho Manor Farm! "
Baby naming ceremonies have become increasingly popular among families who wish to commemorate the huge occasion of welcoming a baby to the family without wanting a religious ceremony such as a christening.
Here are a few word's from Kelly Hawes Celebrant "Not wishing to hold a religious ceremony, shouldn’t stop you from holding such an iconic celebration of life. In one of my baby naming ceremonies we celebrate the welcoming of your child into the family and the community that surrounds them, we celebrate the names that you have chosen for them and you can also allocate important people to act as supporting or guiding adults in the same way you would choose a godparent. This celebration is all about giving thanks for the precious gift of parenthood as well as making lifelong promises to your child. A similar ceremony can be carefully crafted to welcome adopted children into the family fold too. "
