Where to have your wedding photos at Furtho Manor Farm

Photographers do love that here at Furtho Manor Farm wedding venue we have loads of choices for where they can take couples to get those lovely pictures of the couple.  Whatever the time of year and weather, there is somewhere to have your photos.  In this blog I show lots of photos of real weddings with the photographers' name under the picture


THE CEREMONY


For a licenced wedding ceremony couple have the choice of two inside spaces the barn or the smaller ceremony room, Furtho East,  or a number of outside options.  The wedding venue is now licenced for outside weddings anywhere in the field next to the barn including down on the gazebo by the lake.

Photos can be taken down at the gazebo either during the ceremony or at any other point in the day.








THE CHURCH 

Just across the field from our wedding barn sits a medieval Church, great for photos inside or out.

THE DOVECOTE

Is the the only other medieval building remaining from the village of Furtho, the stonework on this building is great as a photo backdrop.

INSIDE THE BARN

Traditionally guests are seated at their tables for the wedding reception and then the bridal couple are announced, this is another time to capture the couple as they come into the barn together.






Some couples also like to get a photo in the barn before their guests make a mess ! After making the barn look beautiful it is lovely to get photos in the barn.  At our wedding I also got the photographer to take a photo of each table during the wedding breakfast - I really like these as I know I have a photo of every guest.



CAKE CUTTING


Some couple forget to cut the cake so make sure it is on the photographers list and they will make sure it happens.

FARMHOUSE GARDEN

Often the garden is used for photos of the bride and bridesmaids if they have got ready in the farmhouse bed & breakfast, but couples are welcome to come and use it for the backdrop for some of their photos.

It obviously depends on what time of year how late your wedding photographer needs to stay to get a few photos in the dark for you, but they can create something rather wonderful.

Wedding Couples Information

  Wedding Couples Information Please make sure you both read the below information and if you have other people setting up in the barn they must also read it. Access For a Saturday wedding you can have access to the barn on a Thursday & Friday from 9 am to 9 pm and everything needs to be cleared away by Sunday midday. Whilst for a Tuesday wedding access is available on the Monday at 9 am to 9pm and everything must be cleared away by Wednesday midday.  Accommodation We have in total five bed and breakfast rooms. Three in the farmhouse which all can be double, twin, family (2 adults and 2 children), triple or single rooms and two at The Lodge, just next door which can be double or single occupancy only. If you would like rooms for any additional nights the prices for these nights will be single £70, double / twin £90 family or triple £120. Room Hire of Furtho East

Furtho East is available to hire by the hour, morning, afternoon or day. Located within the courtyard of units at Furtho Manor Farm is Furtho East which is 630 sq. ft.  This room is 11.4 by 4.9 metres and is a height of 2.37 metres. This room is hired out at £15 a hour, £40 a morning, afternoon or evening or £60 a day. A morning as 8-12 or 9 -1 An afternoon as 1-5 or 2 -6 An evening as 6-10 Day 8 -10 This is for the room with up to 10 people.
