Fabulously colourful wedding photoshoot

What a lovely way to liven up a wedding with an explosion of colour.  If you are looking for some wedding inspiration have a flick through these wonderful pictures.

 

Back in 2020, whilst weddings were on hold, Hannah Rose Weddings got a great group of local wedding suppliers together to set up the barn at Furtho Manor Farm. 

 

Below is Hannah getting the wedding party ready for the wedding ceremony.




Hannah has now been involved in weddings for over fifteen years and over 500 weddings.  She can offer you full wedding planning or just on the day wedding co-ordination.  She is there to be the planner, organiser and the designer. 









The ceremony was held down on the gazebo here at Furtho Manor Farm wedding venue.  This is one of a number of areas available for an outside wedding.  Liz is seen here conducting the ceremony and I will let Liz tell you a bit about herself.


"I’m Liz, an independent celebrant based in the Northamptonshire area. Although I specialise in creating and delivering wedding ceremonies, I’m delighted to be asked to conduct renewal of vows, Civil Partnership celebrations and commitment ceremonies.

The suits here were hired from Scotney's of London Road in Leicester, who have a wide range of men's suits to hire or buy for your wedding day.






 The one set of couple photos you need to get soon after your wedding ceremony, are any with your wedding cars.  Here you can see Jordan & Devante with a VW Campervan from Silk & Satin. After your ceremony one of their drivers would take you for a short drive, which is a lovely way to have some time together before all your guests want to spend time with you.












McGee's, who run all the bars at Furtho, supplied furniture for this photoshoot.  In this photo you can see their cross back chairs and rustic trestle tables, as well as their white room devide.  Some couples use the room devide so they can have their ceremony in one part of the barn, then do a reveal afterwards to see the tables set up for the wedding breakfast.

Yes - those are cakes not ice creams you see! I remember being lucky enough to eat one (or maybe two) after the photoshoot - they were delicious.  These had been made by Parul from Silverleaf Cake Company.











In the little box on top of the napkin is a Bomboniere by Maria - an Italian wedding favour.

All the stationery for this shoot was supplied by Pink Peony Weddings 

Kelly is a creative, Bedfordshire-based wedding stationer at Pink Peony Weddings. She loves to design fun and unique stationery for weddings.

All the illustrations are drawn by hand and professionally printed on luxury card stocks. By working with Kelly, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind experience - and a beautiful collection of bespoke stationery to share with your friends and family.

 

The brief for the stationery for the shoot was fun, colourful and striking. 

Kelly created a painted effect with splashes of colour for a fun, playful but modern feel. The added touches of bright pink tassels added that unique touch. 

For the table plan she decided to keep it fun and tie in with the gin bottles filled with flowers on the tables. Tags for each table were made to hang around each gin bottle and then styled with crates and flowers. It was much more fun than your regular table plan!

If you're a modern and fun couple this stationery is ideal for the modern but rustic style of the shoot.





















If you are wanting to use bottles for table plans, lights or flowers on the tables, Furtho Events has a lovely collection of bottles for this purpose.  I have not drunk them all on my own - I promise!!

















I love the splash of colour that the linen (set up by Chelsea Hire) and the charger plates (from Wayfair) bring to the tables set up for the wedding breakfast.









Hayley from Bloomfield Flowers supplied all the flowers for the photoshoot.  She has done lots of weddings here at Furtho and I love to recommend her - as you would not be disappointed. Her flowers always look amazing.  Don't you just love the colours in these table decorations?







The Mr & Mr letters, balloons and table runners were all supplied by Ellis Elite Events  They supply lots of props from small candle centre pieces to bespoke venue styling.






The barn at Furtho Manor Farm is available to hold weddings and events in all year round.  It is suitable to seat up to 150 guests for your ceremony, with up to 200 for an evening reception.

Wedding Couples Information

  Wedding Couples Information Please make sure you both read the below information and if you have other people setting up in the barn they must also read it. Access For a Saturday wedding you can have access to the barn on a Thursday & Friday from 9 am to 9 pm and everything needs to be cleared away by Sunday midday. Whilst for a Tuesday wedding access is available on the Monday at 9 am to 9pm and everything must be cleared away by Wednesday midday.  Accommodation We have in total five bed and breakfast rooms. Three in the farmhouse which all can be double, twin, family (2 adults and 2 children), triple or single rooms and two at The Lodge, just next door which can be double or single occupancy only. If you would like rooms for any additional nights the prices for these nights will be single £70, double / twin £90 family or triple £120. Fabulous DIY Wedding

The bride and bridesmaid's stayed in the Farmhouse the night before the wedding  I have had many creatives brides but I think this was the first and so far only bride who made her own wedding dress.  It was absolutely amazing and I loved the open back. Amelia & James got married on the gazebo at the lake here at Furtho.  With guests sat on the grass seats. I always love going to see the barn all set up on a Friday evening before a wedding.  For this wedding I was certainly blown away by all the amazing details.  Each table had a hoop of flowers over it was so effective. The Grooms Mum made the cake apparently have a few trials and making a delicious cake for the day.  I have great memories of this wedding with the sliding doors open and a packed dancefloor.  DJ Karlton had not played here before but we were very impressed.   I think this is the shortest supplier list I have ever written !!
