Retro Autumnal Wedding Photoshoot

As I sit here in lockdown number three and it is rather chilly outside I decided I am need of some colour and glamour.  So thought I would share this colourful photoshoot.

When Emily Little Photography first approached about doing a photoshoot here at Furtho Manor Farm her ideas centred on a retro orange mini and a jumpsuit for the bride.

With suppliers Emily had worked with locally over the years she brought together a creative group of suppliers who understood her vision and the colour palete choice of burgundy and orange brought it all together.

It is some of the fine details which I absolutely love, like the orange legs of the tables provided by Outhouse Byhand

R and F weddings who do planning and styling pulled the photoshoot together and made sure the final touches were perfect.

Enjoy looking at these fabulous photos.

Catherine and Donn - a real life couple - were the bride and groom for the day.  Catherine started her day like many of our brides do getting ready in the downstairs bedroom in the Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast on-site. Often the wedding photographer is on site to get some pictures of the bridal party getting ready so Hannah Joy MUA is used to just carrying on as if no photos are being taken.

Hannah has done the wedding make-up for numerous brides here at Furtho Manor Farm.  Not only do brides had off to get married looking fabulous but Hannah creates a relaxed fun environment.

The Little Craft Box was born after Gracie got married and was a DIY bride doing her own stationary friends then asked to do theirs.  Now she runs her own business.

Sarah from My off the wall designs can create some fantastic backdrops for you as well as table runners.  Milton Keynes is certainly full of creative suppliers.

Kirsty from Oh my Cakery arrived at the photoshoot with three amazing cakes.  How amazing would it be to cut into one of these on your wedding day.

Gin House Flowers provided the flowers for the photoshoot on their website it says

We create gorgeous flower arrangements and unique bouquets for weddings, funerals and birthdays, or any occasion where only flowers will make people feel happy or better! We put love, heart and soul into our flower arrangements so you can make someone special smile ☺

Just looking at these flower pictures today they are making me happy.

The Rub BBQ  are a local family company who specialise is smoked food - chicken wings, antipasti spreads and bbq serving boards.  All their rubs, sauces and marinades are made from scratch.  You can certainly taste the love in the food they create.

The mini which this shoot was planned around is privately owned but isn't it just gorgeous.

Catherine & Donn where great sports for the whole of the photoshoot - especially Donn when Toni from Glamavan Glitter glittered them both up.

Regularly I see brides no longer want to wear uncomfortable heals for their wedding day.  So there have been many other shoes tucked away under a wedding dress - or on show like here.  If you fancy something custom made for your day as shown below get in touch with Bex from Morgan & Thread.
