Baby shower and baby naming

Image
Baby showers in Milton Keynes Baby showers are a time to give the mum-to-be love and support, as well as giving presents of the various necessary items for the new arrival or pamper gifts for the mother.  I read with interest on her website how Carly Candles started making candles due to her research during pregnancy for safe products to have in your home. It is an opportunity for the mum-to-be to have a relaxed time with family and friends before their life gets busy with a newborn child. Furtho Manor Farm gives you a relaxed venue in the countryside just outside Milton Keynes to host a baby shower.  We have two venues which can be hired, depending on the number of guests, with lots of opportunities to have some stunning photos both inside and outside. There is also plenty of free parking onsite. Furtho East This rooms works really well for up to 30 people.  The space is 11.4 by 4.9 metres with a height of 2.37 metres.  This room can also be set up with round tables, three tables wou

Christmas at Furtho

Image
Christmas is a special period of the year wherever you go and that is no different at Furtho. Despite the difficulties which winter presents on the farm, the comfort of the Christmas feeling and the special opportunities which the festive period allows certainly make it worth it. Whilst we haven't had a white Christmas at Furtho in several years, the frosty ground in the mornings, bare trees and crisp weather creates a beautiful wintery picture throughout the farm.  Every year at Furtho we host various festive events. These include the Carol Service in St Bartholomew's Church (which you can read all about in a previous blog post). The Carol Service invites people from the local villages, raising money from the Churches Conservation Trust, a charity which takes care of over 350 historical churches in Britain, including St Bartholomew's.
